Why we made Najma
Prayer on time is a duty Allah has written on every one of us. Yet the day pulls at us: work, study, sleep, our phones. One prayer slips past its time, then another, and finding our way back gets harder.
Najma is a quiet companion for those days. It tells you when each prayer comes in, lets you note that you've prayed with one tap, and shows your consistency growing, one day at a time. It's for you and for your family: one account can hold a profile for everyone at home, children included.
What we believe
- Prayer is an obligation. All five daily prayers, each in its time, are a duty on every Muslim.
- Prayer is for Allah. Stars and streaks are only a gentle push. The intention and the acceptance are between you and Allah.
- A missed prayer is made up. Pray it as soon as you remember it, and keep going. Najma doesn't scold, it reminds: “It's not too late. Pray it now.”
- Encouraging each other in good. Private groups for family and friends, with cheers and du'a, never a public scoreboard.
- Ease where Allah gave ease. Travellers can combine prayers, and on excused days the streak simply waits.
